Using JAMF’s API to give data insights to iPad Distribution

Working with a college that are distributing iPads to T-level students, there was a crucial requirement to analyse the distribution of the iPads based on two important factors – enrolment and deprivation index.

This requirement arose as a result of the need to understand the impact of the iPad distribution on the students, and to ensure that the distribution was equitable and reached the students who needed it the most.

By analysing the distribution based on enrolment, the college could understand the number of students who received the iPads, and how that number varied based on different enrolment patterns.

The deprivation index, on the other hand, provided insight into the socio-economic status of the students, and gave visibility of iPads that were distributed to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Distribution visuals were created to showcase the deployment between Curriculum Areas, Departments and Teams in addition to looking at coverage for all Student’s on a particular course.
